Fluorescent lights, hard seats, too cold , too hot, or
some of both. If you’ve ever sat in a hotel conference
room all day, you know how they can drain your energy.

Add in the stress of traveling, sleeping in the wrong bed and
you’ve got a recipe for feeling funky. And I don’t mean James
Brown funky.

This morning a lady sitting next to me in our seminar had a
full-on case of the Funk. As it turned out, she almost missed
the seminar to take care of her dad, who’s having complications with diabetes, losing feeling in his arms and legs, etc.

So she asked me if I thought the Q-Link would help him.

I’m not sure. I’ve seen studies showing that the Q-Link helps
you resist electronic stress, keeps your blood cells shaped right and strengthens your chi or acupuncture meridians. And when all that happens, lots of other good things happen.

But I don’t know how it would help a guy in his 80s with what she called ‘maturity-onset’ diabetes. Maybe a little, maybe
a lot, or some of both.

Then she asked me the question most people REALLY want to know about. They don’t care about the studies, they just want to know:

“What will it do for ME?”

I told her I didn’t know that either. Besides the invisible stuff, some people notice a calm feeling, more relaxed, more focused, better sleep, all kinds of good things. Some right away, some over time.

It all depends on the person.

So she gave it a try.

After the break, she caught up with me and said, “Wow…I
can’t believe it! I felt terrible this morning, my legs
hurt, my back hurt…I didn’t even want to come downstairs
for the session.

“But I came all this way, so I was gonna tough it out. I put
the QLink on and felt better right away! And I feel great
right now…Thanks so much!”

And she’s getting one for her Dad. I gave her a few tips
for her Dad, most of which he’s following already, but the
reality is he’s getting started a little late in the game.

I tell you this story just to remind you that when I talk
about stress, Diseases of Modern Civilization, etc…it’s
not just stuff in a book or interesting theories.

It’s real people with real problems. That are getting real results.

You can choose to be one of them; or you can choose to go on
living your life with the brakes on.

Don’t wait til the ditch is too deep to get out of.
It’s never too late to change, but sooner is always better
than later.

To get your QLink and start “enjoying the calm”
(as one fella put it) TODAY:

I’ve been at a seminar this week and run into several members of the Dr. Vince Caveman Club…and heard some interesting stories, about:

- an almost broken elbow from 85-pound Vietnamese massage therapist. He thought maybe she was trying to get out some anti-American aggression

- a guy cut his diabetes medicine from two pills a day down
to a quarter-pill 5 or 6 days a week

- a lady who’s finding a way to kick her addiction to diet
soda

- one guy broke all the rules of Urinal Etiquette and started
telling me how much he liked Caveman Cuisine…while we were still both ‘occupied’

But that’s OK by me. I love to hear from the people I’m
helping. Even at inappropriate moments.

I’ve noticed two common themes in all the comments:

1. I’m not perfect
2. I’m not there yet

Right now, you may be feeling the same way.

Well, Welcome to the Human Race. The good news is that you don’t have to be Perfect to be successful, and it’s virtually impossible to eat perfectly in Modern Society.

The great news is that it’s easier than you think to get
healthy again when you start eating or modeling the Original
Human Diet. And I’m making it easier than you think to get
started yourself.

Without being perfect. In fact, ‘imperfect’ is built right in.

That’s why I created Caveman Cuisine in the first place. To
help you lose weight and live longer with the Stone Age
principles, but still be able to live in the high-tech Modern
World (and avoid the Diseases of Modern Civilization).

But sometimes we resist change. The Devil-you-know, and all that. You can get so ingrained in your old habits that it’s
even hard to think about changing.

I got inspired hearing all the successes this week, and it
reminded me of all the folks who could benefit tremendously
from my program. So I want to remove your resistance to
change in your life for the Better.

I can’t make it any easier than this: take a ’sneak peek’ at
the November Caveman Cuisine newsletter and Wheel of Life CD for only $1. Now that’s not just a paragraph or a clip.
The whole thing.

You’ll have 30 days to read, listen and apply what you learn.
If you can’t manage to make the small changes that will make a BIG difference, then send me an email to ‘cancel’ and that
will be the end of that.

But if you read, listen, apply and notice the positive changes
in your energy levels, appearance, mood, etc. (and want more of them) then you don’t have to do anything.

On December 15th you’ll be charged the regular Caveman Club membership of 29.95 a month and get your full Welcome Package with the Caveman Cuisine QuickStart Guide/CD, Wheel of Life Playbook and other gifts. You can stay as long as you want and cancel at any time.

It’ll never get any easier than this. Consider it my early
Thanksgiving present for being such loyal readers.

Here’s the link to take the $1 Caveman Sneak-Peek:

And here’s to really Living like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

P.S. One of our speakers today said your biggest priorities
should be your family and your profession. And it’s really hard to play with your kids or be active like you want to or perform well at your job if you’re overweight or struggle with your health. You owe it to yourself–and your Family–to be your Best. They want you to be around for a long time.

Last May I met a guy I thought was a real-life Soprano:
named Tony, Italian, shoots guns a lot, owns restaurants,
mid-50s, built like a bear.

When I saw him yesterday, I noticed he looked different somehow.

Maybe he shaved his mustache, was wearing different clothes, or maybe I just remembered him wrong.

I told him that I thought he looked different…and he said he’d
lost 40 big ones since May. Turns out he’d had surgery last year for a neck injury and was inactive for a while. And blew up like a balloon.

He credits exercising again, whey protein shakes and fish oil
with his quick change. “I feel better than I have in quite
a while.”

As we talked, he mentioned something about having kids in
Montessori school, about the same age as my daughter.
“How old are you, anyway?” I asked.

42.

Wow. I totally missed that one. I thought he was at least 10
years older than me. That extra baggage really made him look older. And feel older. He’s actually two years younger than me, and now he’s starting to look it

A couple of points:

1. Even if you’re sidelined, you can always get back in the
game.

An injury/accident, prolonged sickness, even travel, jury duty or unexpected emergencies can derail your workout/eating
schedule. Sometimes for quite a while. I had a similar
experience last summer and had to rehab myself for five or six months.

But you don’t have to let it paralyze you. Being off the path
is OK…you can always get back on. Even if your 40 or 50-
something.

2. Carrying that extra baggage shortens your life. Extra
weight decreases your lifespan; losing the weight helps you
live longer. And it helps you look younger, too.

3. Good nutrition helps you get there quicker.

Whey protein helps you save muscle and burn fat
http://www.drvinceonline.com/whey.htm

Fish oil helps you burn fat and not store as much, because
you’re more sensitive to insulin (the less insulin you need,
the longer you live)
http://www.drvinceonline.com/fishoil.htm

Live like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

PS Put the Badda-bing back in your Badda-boom, and feed
yourself the way it wants to be fed. You can tell it’s
working when people tell you how much better you look. And
with holidays right around the corner, can winter coats be
far behind? Get a jump-start on winter and jump-start your
metabolism with whey protein and fish oil.

This summer in Vegas, I went to the top of the Stratosphere.
You know, the tall needle that you see on CSI…900 feet above
the street.

And I dangled off the side of the building on the X-Scream,
what feels like a rocket slide shooting you out into mid-air.
And then it goes up - and - down - and up - and
downrealfast.

I was strapped in so tight I couldn’t get out even
if I wanted to (and that’s the way I like it on those things),
but I still held on tight…a literal white-knuckler.

That’s about what it felt like 20 years ago. No, not when I
got married (that was in June).

But in October of ‘87 we had “Black Monday”, where the stock
market took a nose-dive. Single biggest one-day loss ever
(as I recall).

Everyone was panicking…but as bad as it was, it was simply
a ‘market correction’. What goes up must come down.

The good news is it doesn’t have to come all the way down,
but in nature, there’s no such thing as a straight line.

And overall, the market was up 5% for the year, even after
falling 20% in October.

I’m no economist, but I am an observer of nature…especially
human nature. We get excited when things go the right way,
and discouraged when things go the wrong way.

That’s why the call it yo-yo dieting. Not so much because of
how the weight fluctuates…but how your Mood fluctuates.

And that’s why ‘dieting’ can be so discouraging…lose a pound
–great. Gain a pound–what’s the use?

There’s an easier way to get back in shape, and not lose your
Mind in the process. How to negotiate the bumps in the road
that will come no matter what.

It respects YOUR Nature, and the Nature of the Process of losing
weight and/or getting healthy again.

I give you the Inside Scoop in the Caveman Cuisine QuickStart
Guide. What to look at, what to ignore, what to count, what
to measure…how to stay on the Path and reach your goal
without sidetracking yourself.

Here’s what one of my Cave-persons had to say:

“Dr. V,

Just wanted to let you know that I love
the whey powder and fish oil, and I love
the eating plan. I’ve lost 5 pounds in 10 days.
I also wanted to compliment you on your Caveman
Concentration essay, which I found to be very
inspiring and timely for me. Thanks for addressing
the whole person — mind body and spirit, not
just the body as most people do.”

5 pounds in 10 days is amazing–congrats!

You can get in on the fun, too:
http://www.cavemancuisine.com

If you hold on too tight you won’t enjoy the ride. If you
hang too loose, you might end up on the sidewalk. Let me
help you find that balance so you don’t miss out on the fun of
getting your Ideal Body back.

Live like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

PS The Caveman Club welcome pack comes with the QuickStart
Guide/CD AND the Wheel of Life Playbook, that helps you work
thru the ups & downs in all areas of your Life. And Caveman
Concentration, with 12 practical exercises for setting your
Mind free.

PPS here’s a picture of the summer fun-fest:

Someone asked me the other day about ‘micro-chipping’.
I know they can find your pooch if he strays within 100 miles
of home, and I think some government agency put one in Fox
Mulder on the X-Files, but other than that I don’t know much
about it.

Their concern was if wearing a QLink 24 hours a day would make
you vulnerable to government tracking, snooping, etc.

With the Patriot Act in full force, that may be a reasonable
concern, but don’t worry about Black Helicopters and Secret
Agents just yet.

The ‘micro-chip’ in the QLink isn’t really a microchip that
puts out a signal…it’s not ‘active’.

It’s a resonating cell that’s ‘passive’…that is, it doesn’t
work unless something’s working it. It picks up on your body’s
vibration and vibrates like a tuning fork, making your own
electric field strong.

It’s kind of like a musical instrument. Just sitting there until
someone comes along to play it. And the QLink plays a beautiful
tune: YOU…unadulterated and vibrant. And those of us around
you can hear it loud and clear.

And you’ll feel better, playing your tune the way it was meant
to be played.

But don’t worry: it’s not gonna trip off any airport
security scanners or police radar guns or let anyone eavesdrop
on you.

If you’re not feeling 100% and need a tune-up, then check out
the Q-Link Personal Energy Pendant

http://www.drvinceonline.com/qlink.htm

Live like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

PS The biggest thing people are noticing lately is that the
QLink gives them a sense of calm. Holidays are coming (travel,

I remember watching the first episode of “Hee Haw” in my
trailer when I was a young’un, so I probably qualify.

One of my favorite skits was “Doctor Archie” (Campbell, no
relation). The patient would say, “Doctor Archie, it hurts
when I do this…” and he’d say

“Well don’t do that!”

I had an interesting conversation with a patient yesterday, who
sounds like he went to see the re-incarnated Dr. Archie.

But it’s not very funny.

He said he’d been urinating more frequently for about the past
two months. So immediately I thought of prostate or diabetes.
He said he’d been to his MD, because those two things were on
his mind as well, but everything checked out OK.

His MD checked his sugar and his prostate and proclaimed him
“fit as a fiddle”…and told him to stop drinking so much water.

(I can hear your collective groan from here.)

I didn’t even have to say anything. My patient said, “That
didn’t make any sense, though, because I’ve been drinking a lot
of water for a long time and this just started a few months
ago…and I told him that, but he said just quit drinking so
much…I’m gonna skip that advice and see what you think.”

That’s become all-too-common these days, treating us like
machines:

- Too much water coming out? Don’t put so much in.

- Too much cholesterol? Don’t eat so much…or here, take this
to lower it.

- Too much acid in your stomach? Take the purple pill to turn
it off

- Something bothering you? We’ll take it out.

Dr. Archie Lives. But us, not so much.

The side-effects from all these drugs are causing just as many
problems (if not more) than the original complaint. And most
really don’t improve the outcomes, but it sounds like a good
idea, and at least we’re doing “something”.

You’re not a machine, Off or On. Black or white.
You’re a living organism…with lots of grey.

And your health mostly depends on the stuff you put in your
mouth every day. Your body knows how to work right, as long
as there’s no interference, and it has the tools to work with.
And the junk that passes for ‘food’ these days is like trying
to build a house with rusty nails, a screwdriver and some
cardboard.

You’ll make something, but it won’t be fit to live in.

Give yourself the building blocks to re-Create your Ideal
Body from the Inside-Out. And respect the inherent Wisdom put
there from the Beginning.

http://www.drvinceonline.com/core4.htm
http://www.cavemancuisine.com

Live like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

PS I did a couple of reflex tests and ruled out the bladder,
but his prostate lit up like a Christmas Tree (and I didn’t
even have to play Dr. JellyFinger).

After I adjusted him, his prostate was strong and clear.

What did that mean? I don’t know. I just know something in
that area was making him weak, I corrected it and made it
strong. Trouble can start long before it shows up on a
physical exam or PSA test.

Like I said before, it’s not grand and dramatic or ’sekksy’
to help someone NOT have a degenerative disease
(and how do you ‘prove’ you did anyway?)…
but we know that heart disease, osteoporosis,
diabetes, cancer, etc. can turn around in people who start
taking Omega-3 fats, which your body needs every day, and
are the cornerstone of the Core Four.

I’m not sure what Dr. Archie would say, but I take them
every day…it’s the easiest and safest way to get back on
the Path…

We’re having a drought of historic proportions here in Georgia.
It even made the National News this week.

They’ve banned all outdoor watering, and are talking about
rationing…even shutting down businesses that use too much.

So we’re not flushing as often, and being more aware of our
water use. But it may be a case of too little, too late. The
winter forecast is “mild & dry”, so we may be in deep kimchee
come the spring.

Even as bad as things get here, though, there’s no reason to
ration the water you’re putting INto your body. Water is
one of the Caveman Connections. The Earth is 75% water, our
bodies are 75% water, our muscles are 80% water.

You’ll die in a week or two without any water. Survivalists
tell us that if you lose a couple of quarts of water, you’ll
lose 25% of your efficiency. In a survival situation,
losing a full quarter of your physical and mental abilities
due to dehydration could mean the end of your life.

What about in a non-survival situation? Just your average
work week…how will you perform, feel, act, succeed at only
75% of your capacity?

The current “8-8oz glasses” was based on how much urine the
test subjects produced in a day. But, the bigger they are,
the harder they fall, and the more yellow there is to mellow.
So the best water recommendations have to take into account
your bodyweight and metabolism.

I cover this topic as part of the “Things it’s OK to Count”
section of the Caveman Cuisine newsletter. I’ve over-delivered
this month with over 12 pages of life-enhancement, re-direction
and encouragement (with a little hump-busting thrown in for
good measure).

Even the CDs got an extra bonus on it, so you don’t want to
miss this:

http://www.cavemancuisine.com

Now go have a glass of water, pray for rain in Georgia, and
Live like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

PS There’s no such thing as ‘flu-season’…it’s Halloween,
Thanksgiving and Christmas. At least that’s one thing that
folks who study health/nutrition agree on.

There’s a list of “Things not to Count”, too…yes, they’re
counter to the mainstream thinking, but mainstream thinking’s
what got us fat, weak and sick in the first place.

You’ll get a head-start on staying healthy (two or three,
actually) with this month’s Caveman Cuisine Newsletter and
Wheel of Life CD. Make this the best ‘holiday’ season ever…
and kiss ‘flu-season’ good bye…for good.

I found this gem from Neals Nuze on Boortz.com today:

The future of our healthcare system in this country can
currently be examined in Australia.

At the Westmead Hospital, surgeons were told by the
administration not to book any patients … despite an
extensive waiting list for elective surgery. And every
week surgeons are told to cut the number of patients on
their list and are finished by 10am. The surgeons say
that they are still “working,” and still being paid but
sitting around doing nothing.

Almost every week surgery teams got phone calls from
government administrators telling them to only book two
patients on surgery day. They were told to do this because
it “relieves pressure on bed availability” and “keeps
cancellation figures down.”

Neal: [Huh. So the government is so concerned about its
cancellation figures, that they are actually booking
less people to have less chance of cancellation. That
makes perfect sense.]

“We’re hearing more and more cases of where
hospitals don’t have the right surgery teams, they
don’t have the expert staff to do the operating,
sometimes they don’t have the correct equipment to
do the operation …Some [patients] are even being
wheeled down to the operating room and then told to
go home. We hear stories like this all the time.”

Neal says:

“I still believe that socialized medicine, nationalized
medicine, single-payer health care, … whatever label
you want to apply … is inevitable in this country.
We have managed to produce a population that overwhelmingly
believes that they are not responsible for their
own health care.

“This isn’t going to be fun, folks. Try to stay healthy.”

Dr V: Whether or not you agree with national healthcare,
regardless of your political leanings or non-leanings, or
whether or not your believe you are responsible for your
own health Care…

you ARE responsible for your own Health. And the health of
your family.

The best way to stay healthy is to Respect your Biology by
feeding yourself the way you’re designed to be fed…

http://www.cavemancuisine.com

and Protect your Biology with anti-inflammatory, anti-stress,
anti-aging nutrients

http://www.drvinceonline.com/core4.htm

Don’t let your fate rest in the hands of the politicians,
administrators and bureaucracy.

It’s your Hand to your Mouth. Being responsible gives
you the Power to Live like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

PS You make about 200 food-related decisions a day…and
those can add up fast, for better or for worse. Start
making better choices… I can help

I was working at the Lions Club Fair last night, and talk about
scary…funnel cakes, corn dogs, Lion Burgers, the Usual
Suspects…even non-Cavemen have a hard time eating those things
more than once a year.

Anyway, a lady asked where my office was, how long I’d been
practicing (I could tell she was buttering me up), and then:
“Can I ask you a ‘work’ question?”

I don’t mind talking shop while frying burgers,
so I said, “Sure”

She said her hip always popped when she stood up and was
wondering what could be causing it.

I told her that her hip and/or sacrum were probably out of
balance and stuck on one side, which puts uneven pressure on
the spine and the nerves in that area. I helped her visualize
the ‘area’ by waving my hands around my hips, knees, stomach
and private parts…to give her an idea without being too
graphic.

I invited her to come to the office and let me check it out
to make sure there was nothing serious going on.

“Well, what types of things would be ’serious’? It’ll take
a lot for me to get this checked out…”

She’s not the first person to say this. We’re all this way
to some degree. Even though we know that our nerves make our
body work, and I highlighted the special area, “uneven pressure”
just isn’t sekksy enough to get our attention.

So I spelled it out for her: well, those nerves control the
knees, hips, legs…also the colon, uterus, bladder…

“I do have endometriosis” (for you guys, that’s when tissue
grows out of control in the lining of the uterus or other
places in the reproductive system…can be exquisitely painful)

Sure…that nerve pressure could be affecting it…and when
the bottom of the body is out of balance, the top can try to
compensate and cause problems in the…

“I’ve had a headache for the past 9 months…”

Now we’re getting somewhere.

Sometimes we need to be scared a little. That’s why we like
Jason, Freddy, Michael Meyers (from Halloween, not Wayne’s
World). The adrenaline rush from the safety of our own home.

But humans have a funny mental glitch that makes us try to
define ourselves by what we DON’T want. Kind of like a
church I know (nicknamed the Anti’s), because they’re focused
on what they’re against, not on what they’re for. And that’s
why most of the members aren’t too happy and the churches
aren’t too big. But that’s another story.

Our entire “health” care system is designed around treating
and preventing disease, not promoting health.

Ultimately we’re afraid.

This month in the Caveman Cuisine Newsletter I’m giving my
members some practical tools for turning fear into Freedom…
not just about food (even though it’s huge), but in other
areas of life…being free to be Yourself.

I know ‘better health’ isn’t that sekksy; that’s why I keep
reminding you about the Diseases of Modern Civilization
(heart disease, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, diabetes, obesity,
osteoporosis, cancer, etc.)

You can either move toward pleasure or away from pain; you need
the dark to help you appreciate the light; without the
rain you wouldn’t have a rainbow (I feel a Hallmark moment
coming on)

But seriously, if you spend too much time and energy on
the pain, the dark, on what you DON’T want…you’ll never
get around to figuring out what you DO want, and you’ll
deprive yourself (and us) of your Unique Contribution.

You need to get out of ‘fear’ mode, especially when it
comes to your food choices, and getting your Body back. If
you need me to spell it out for you, I will…heart disease,
osteoporosis, high blood pressure, depression, low energy,
low sekks drive, stroke, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, diabetes,
overweight, underfit…

This month’s Caveman Cuisine will help you take your Mind and
Body to a whole new level…and you’ll never look back.
If you’re not a member yet, join today…you won’t regret it
(or you’ll be glad you did, however you like to hear it)

So today, try thinking about what you want…and Live
like You Mean it…

Dr. Vince

the kinks…

decisions you’ve made lately.
