I became interested in the nature and the flow of money because I had to. I was working to pay my way through Chiropractic College. My chiropractic background helped me understand the "Inside-Out" nature of life, so I knew this approach should apply to money, prosperity and success. My traditional Christian upbringing also influenced my studies, and I tried to grasp the spiritual component of this thing we call "money".

But like most of us, my thinking was backward.
I thought the physical and spiritual were separate. That there was a "worldly" way and a "spiritual" way to think about money. And the two didn't seem to intersect. You could either be rich/evil, or poor/spiritual (and the rich people that went to church weren't that spiritual, so I was really confused.) I was trying to reconcile Prosperity Consciousness with Higher Consciousness, but without much success.

Some people may think it's wrong, immoral, or ungodly to be rich or have lots of money. "Filthy Rich" and "Money is the root of all Evil" are popular thoughts (and mistranslations) that come to mind.

You may be a spiritual person, concerned with godly things. "Things above, not things below." (It may have been tough for you to even read this far, because all this about money, riches or success turns you off-even disgusts you.)

Be ye Saint or Sinner, you still have than Inner Desire to make the most of yourself, to be a success:

It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich; if you are a normal man or woman you cannot help doing so.

It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to the Science of Getting Rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies.

If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to yourself, to God, and to humanity, for you can render no greater service than to make the most of yourself.

You may not even want to get "rich", necessarily. But you may want to support a missionary. Retire early. Support your favorite cause, charity or youth organization. Pay for your kid's private school or college. Or just spoil your Kid (or yourself!)

You may want to tour the Holy Land You may want a new home. You may want a big SUV for carpool. Or just because you want it.

Regardless of what you material things you want-or if you want to grow spiritually, mentally, professionally, emotionally, or financially in any way-it takes money to get it.

You don't have to be worldly, sinful or greedy to be Rich-in fact, it's more difficult to get rich if you're worldly, sinful and greedy. Just because some "rich people" are greedy, waste money, and are jerks in general, doesn't mean you have to. You can still be rich like "them"...but you don't have to BE like "them".

You just need to be yourself. Your best and highest Self. But to really be your best-to become rich-you MUST understand the spiritual nature of money and work in harmony with that nature.

"No man ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of using and enjoying more. The purpose of Nature is the advancement and unfoldment of life; and every man should have all that can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty, and richness of life; to be content with less is sinful."

I discovered that there is a better way to think about money, riches and success. Not a "worldly way" or a "spiritual way". But a way that included them both. The best way to understand and work with money is actually called...
